This plastic WWII USS Alabama BB-60 battleship kit is super detailed with 1/350 scale. This South Dakota Class ship is 24 inches long and can be made either a full hull or waterline version.
History
At the outbreak of WWII, the hull construction of the Battleship Alabama was just nearing completion.
Some two years later, the new South Dakota Class battleship was launched seeing action protecting British and Russian convoys in the European war theatre. Subsequently, the Alabama saw extensive action in the South Pacific Islands softening Japanese defenses prior to US invasions. In mid-1945 Alabama participated in shelling factories and other industrial sites north of Tokyo, and ultimately was anchored in Tokyo harbor at the close of the war. She participated in returning thousands of troops back to the USA after the Japanese surrender.
